Astral Artistic Services, $44,160.
To engage fundraising consulting services to analyze, design and implement a major gift campaign and for consulting services to create a customized, centralized database system to enhance and support individual fundraising efforts as well as smooth the administration of artist relationships and performances, increase the information available for marketing, and place the information in one easy to access system.
Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts, $48,300 .
To create a new position of Marketing Coordinator who will implement strategies to increase earned income, and will assist with strategies to increase individual and corporate support; and enhance communications with clients, supporters, the media and targeted audiences through publications, the CCAHA website and other systems.
The Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, $55,200.
To strengthen the organization’s technology infrastructure and prepare it for programmatic expansion by: 1) designing/customizing and installing a new database to support registration, fundraising, administrative and financial operations, and analysis; 2) training all staff to use the database; 3) creating a new IT position to provide desk support and troubleshooting services, intranet/database and network administration; and 4) acquiring appropriate new software and licenses that will allow internal staff to monitor better revenues and expenses and design and produce customized visual presentations for visual or Web consumption.
InterAct Theatre Company, $41,400.
To initiate and operate a full-service, in-house box office by hiring a Box Office Manager and renting appropriate space adjacent to the theatre. The in-house box office initiative will enable the organization to consolidate all box office services, enhance constituency development efforts and provide improved customer service with the goal of increasing earned revenue streams through anticipated growth in subscription and single tickets sales, nominal service fees, and outsourcing of box office services to other organizations.
Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania, $55,200.
To establish the new position of Major Gifts Officer that will be dedicated to building and retaining major gift donors with the goal of strengthening the organization’s ability to raise money, meet the established goals of a five-year capital campaign, and create a broader donor pool.
Point Breeze Performing Arts Center, $55,200.
To create the new position of Director of Finance and Administration to increase the organization’s ability to meet its financial management needs, and improve all financial procedures and controls.
Settlement Music School, $27,600.
To conduct marketing research to develop a plan that will help the staff and leadership personify the school through stories of students and alumni/ae; and that will serve as a means of engaging the interest of former students, faculty and staff in a program of ongoing support for the school. A consultant will be engaged to develop a five-year communication plan to guide the organization’s outreach and constituency building efforts.
The Village of Arts and Humanities, $55,200.
To create the new position of Finance and Administration Director to improve the financial systems to better serve the needs of the organization by helping to plan, project budgets, and track all spending within a well-established system, and assist in financial reports and research.
The Wilma Theater, $48,300.
To create a new position of Facilities Manager to oversee the organization’s two properties, a six year old theater that is the home base of the theater and a 100-year old apartment building recently purchased by the Wilma to house visiting artists.
